Corporate Social Responsibility

Innervisions wants to be a responsible company and a reliable partner for the region, the country and the global world. To achieve this goal, we developed two different programs to support the community around our headquarters and to help saving the environment.

Community

Founded and grown within the Netherlands, we would like to keep this region and country healthy and make it together to a better place.

Opportunity for Youth
With this project we want to connect young people. We offer skills training and do support Dutch organizations to help homeless children. Once a year, we offer a barbecue in the city center in Amsterdam for young people around 15 and 25 years. At this barbecue the children can learn more about new technologies and the experience to start a Start-Up as a young professional. In 2014, 250 children took the chance to participate at this event and we hope to make it up to 500 children in summer 2016.

For students we offer a summer-internship program where they can have a closer look in one of our departments. Innervision is not the biggest company in Amsterdam, but we have the opportunities to involve the Youth and with a new case study every summer, they can get practical experience and have fun in this 4-weeks summer program.

As a company, we want to take care for the youth in the Netherlands. Therefore we support the association Jeugdzorg Nederland (www.jeugdzorgnederland.nl) , that combines the work of different organizations that take care for the rights of young people and try to make the society more sensible for crimes against children.

Environment

Recycling and Reducing Waste

The organizational footprint is something, in our opinion, every company in the world should work on. We, as the team of Innervisions, we are promoting to reduce waste by using less packaging, less papers and by encouraging our employees to bring only recyclable or re-usable packaging for their lunch. Of course, in our headquarters, we have a focus on waste separation where waste is unavoidable.

Water & Energy
Since 2014, our headquarter is the first office in Amsterdam, that is totally using their own solar-powered energy. The whole roof is covered with solar installations and with an efficient power distribution system. Innervisions aims the lowest energy consumption of a building with this size in whole Netherlands.

We also want to reduce our water consumption. Since 2013, we identified a number of actions to achieve this. With these solutions, the water consumption within Innervision is reduced by 25 % in the last two years. The actions started with the type of coffee brewer and washbasin and ended up with collecting rainwater to water flowers.
